About the Journal
INJIL: Indonesian Journal of Islamic Literature is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the study of Islamic literature within the Indonesian context. The journal aims to provide a scholarly platform for critical, theoretical, historical, and creative discussions of literary works that reflect, engage with, or are inspired by Islamic thought, values, and traditions.
INJIL encourages interdisciplinary and intercultural approaches that bridge literature with religion, philosophy, theology, history, culture, and politics—especially in the context of the diverse Muslim literary traditions in Indonesia. The journal welcomes contributions in English, Indonesian, or Arabic.
